Hello World!

I’m Charlotte Leinbach! I’m an actor, writer, creator, and aspiring globetrotter. Here is where I will document my travels, experiences, and daily life as I see it.

To Blog or Not to Blog

I’ve always loved writing and have wanted to start a blog in the past, but never knew what to write about. I didn’t believe that I had a new perspective to offer or that my ideas were original. But that’s just my insecurities and anxiety talking; of course my ideas will be original or a new take on something. And I didn’t want to pigeonhole myself, so I decided to write about the things that are important to me: travel, health, fashion, and art.

My mom, older sister, and I on vacation in Jamaica circa 2002. Don’t you love the goggles I found at the bottom of the hotel pool?

After years of sticking to the background in my own life, it’s time to put myself out there and share a part of me with the world (or at least the Internet).

Born with the Travel Bug

From a young age, I’ve always been a traveler. I flew on my first plane when I was 3, traveled internationally at 4, and have been to 15 countries on over 20 trips before starting this blog. I’ve been fortunate enough to go on these amazing adventures and be introduced to so many rich histories and cultures.

I’m back from a year and half abroad at grad school. It was an amazing experience and I’ll be sharing a bit about my experiences, the good, the bad, and the culture-shocking.

Life is a Struggle When There’s More of You

For most of my teen and adult life, I’ve struggled with my weight. I’ve gone on extreme diets and lost a lot of weight only to put it back on. Sick of the yo-yoing, I’ve decided to include my journey to being comfortable in my body and finding a healthy balance in the blog. I want to be honest and keep myself accountable, but also still enjoy all that life has to offer. This blog will not be about the “best way” to lose weight but rather how to love your body and treat it right, both mentally and physically.

Overall, this blog is my creative outlet and a way to work on my writing (as well as my photography skills), share my experiences, and put myself out there. I hope you are able to find a bit of yourself here and take away a different perspective and positive vibes.
